Swasthya Portal

Swasthya, the Health and Nutrition Portal is a comprehensive platform that serves as a one stop solution for all tribal health and nutrition related data. The portal was launched by the Union Tribal Affairs Minister, Shri Arjun Munda on the 17th of August 2020 with an aim to bring the issue of tribal health to the forefront, facilitate evidence-based policy making, bridge the existing knowledge gap and foster an environment of cross learning and collaboration.

The portal continuously consolidates tribal specific data from various data sources of different ministries. In addition, the portal also regularly collects and presents information, best practices, reseraches and learnings related to tribal health and nutrition from different parts of the country. It is envisioned that availability of this information will aid in decision making and designing comprehensive policies and programs for tribal health and nutrition.

  • A robust data repository that has consolidated data from different ministries and sources.
  • A dedicated dashboard that shows key indicators related to health and nutrition.
  • An extensive knowledge repository that houses contemporary research articles, best practices, district tribal health factsheets and other relevant documents
  • A partner's section that district wise enlists and describes work of key organisations working in tribal health and nutrition
  • A quarterly newsletter, ALEKH that features articles throwing light on tribal health and nutrition authored by policymakers, subject matter experts and development practitioners.
